things you never wanted to know about...so you thought...

favorite day

every other wednesday is now my new favorite day.  that is my "light work" day at duke.  today i got to sit in an office and do school work for at least half the day.  the other half i attended a talk on the postpartum support group that my supervisor co-facilitates and the other part i made sure we had all the stuff we needed before my supervisor left for 10 days.  (hope the clinic is still running when he returns.)

on your "light work" day you wear a pager in case you are needed.  at one point today i had on two pagers (mine and my supervisors).  if someone saw me walking around, they might possibly think i knew what i was doing.  people who wear pagers have important information that other people might need in an instant.  (that's the purpose of pagers, correct?)  i have none of that information, but if a page would have been sent to me i'd of given it my best shot to find out the information that was needed.

hopefully every other wednesday won't be too hectic and i can really take that time to get some of 546,765 pages of material i am supposed to have read every week for school.

i never intended for this blog to be so much about my internship and school stuff...but when that's all you do, i guess that's all you can write about.  maybe i'll have good things to write about after making memories this weekend.
